Your Champlain College student account is the place for paying your tuition and fees online. Champlain College has teamed with TransferMate to provide a streamlined and secure payment method through your student account that also reduces bank fees and improves your payment experience.

With TransferMate, students can pay tuition and fees in their local currency from nearly any country.

  • International students can access their student bills through Self Service.

    • Log in to SelfService.
    • Click on Student. Under the Student Accounts heading, click Student Statement & Payment to enter our billing system.
    • Go to the Make Payment tab. Select payment amount. Then choose TransferMate in the drop-down menu.
    • Select the country of payment and complete the payer details.
    • Make your payment using the provided instructions.
  • International Authorized Users can access their student¡¯s bill through TouchNet.

    • If you have not been set up as an Authorized User, your student must first set you up (please see directions under Authorized Users).
    • Once they do this, you will receive an email from the TouchNet system notifying you that you have been set up as an Authorized User.
    • Email notifications will be sent to the Student and Authorized Users when statements are available.

    Setting Up Authorized Users

    To add an Authorized User, your student must:

    • Login to?Self Service using their username and password.
    • Click the Student Finance icon.
    • Under the My Profile section, click the Authorized Users link to the right.
    • Follow the directions on the screen.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

TransferMate can ONLY be used to pay a Champlain College international student¡¯s billed tuition and fees and cannot accept payment for off-campus or personal expenses.

Health Insurance

Full-time international students are charged for Student Health Insurance. This annual plan is mandatory for all students who are not covered by another policy which meets current J-1 Sub-Part A regulations (see regulations on Health Insurance for International Students).

Learn more about student health insurance including how to waive this insurance. If a waiver is not received, the insurance plan and associated costs will remain in effect for the full academic year, unless the student withdraws from the College.
