Within three weeks of the date on your Offer of Financial Aid

  • To confirm your enrollment and reserve your place as a full-time student at Champlain College, please go to your Application Dashboard account to accept your offer of admission and submit your enrollment deposit.

If you have a Champlain Applicant Portal account:

    • Log in to the Applicant Portal.
    • Don’t remember your password? No problem. You can request a new one (be sure to use the same email address you used when you applied!).

If you do not already have a Champlain Applicant Portal account:

Once you are logged in to the Champlain Applicant Portal:

    • If you have not already viewed your Admissions decision letter on the Applicant Portal, click on the golden envelope. At the bottom of the screen, click the green “Reply to Offer” then “Accept Offer” and “Pay by Credit Card.” (You can also opt to “Pay Later,” but please be mindful of your specific deposit due date.)
    • If you previously viewed your Admissions decision letter on the Applicant Portal and had opted to click “Pay Later,” you may now select “Pay My Deposit” and follow the screens to submit your deposit by credit card.

Please submit your $500 enrollment deposit within three weeks of the date on your Offer of Financial Aid. This deposit is an advance payment toward your Champlain College tuition and will be deducted from your spring semester bill.

If you have any questions, please call or text the Office of Admissions at (802) 625-0201.

  • Please ask your high school guidance office to send us a copy of your final high school transcript. If you have taken any AP Exams, please have an official score report from the College Board sent here as well.

If you have taken courses at another college, please have that institution send us an official transcript. Official transcripts from a previous institution must be sent to Champlain College so that transfer credit may be considered.
All transcripts can be sent either electronically or by mail.

You can find directions for setting up Authorized Users in our Compass Student Services website under “Authorized Users.”

ASAP after submitting your deposit

  • Available one week after you submit your deposit
Within a week of submitting your enrollment deposit, you will receive an email from Champlain with the username and temporary password for your Champlain College Student Account (subject: “Activate Your Champlain College Student Account”).

After you receive that email, please activate your Champlain College Student Account as soon as possible. Instructions are provided on the activation page; follow instructions for “New Users.”

  • You will receive an email at your current address when your Champlain College email account is ready. Your new Champlain College email address is firstname.lastname@mymail.champlain.edu. If you previously activated your Champlain College Student Account, you will need to reset your password at welcome.champlain.edu to begin using your new email.

Links to your email and other important resources are available on our Current Student portal. We encourage you to spend time exploring both the Current Student portal and Self-Service.

Plan to check your Champlain MyMail account regularly! Faculty and staff communicate with students through the Champlain MyMail system about assignments, class notices and cancellations, registration information, and more.

  • Available November 15

Tuition and related fees for full-time students are billed each semester. Balances are due December 1 for the Spring 2025 semester. You will receive an email notification when your bill is ready to be viewed. Only you, the student, will have access to view/pay the bill unless you add a parent/guardian as an Authorized User to your account. If you are paying by check, including 529 Plan disbursements, please be sure to leave plenty of time for the payment to arrive on time to avoid late payment fees.
