Request for Incomplete Grade
With permission of the instructor and the Dean responsible for the course in question, an interim grade of incomplete may be assigned for a course in which the student has met the criteria. This grade is noted ¡°I¡± on the transcript until the student finishes the coursework.
Coursework must be completed no later than the deadline set by the instructor and no later than eight weeks after the last day of exams for the semester in which you were enrolled in the above course. If the coursework is not complete, the incomplete will be converted to a grade of ¡°F¡± after the eighth week.
Speak with your instructor to request an incomplete. Your instructor will work with you to determine if you are eligible for this option.

Midsemester Grades
Midsemester grades are captured for all 15-week on-campus courses to help students understand their level of progres. These grades are not reported on your transcript; they are information you can use to evaluate how you are doing this semester and to access resources if you need support in catching up in some of your courses.
Midsemester grades can be viewed in Self Service by clicking on Student Planning and Grades.
The grades reported are different from end of semester grades. At midterm, you can expect to see the following:
Grade Achievement Grade Equivalent Standard S (satisfactory) C or better A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C U (unsatisfactory) Passing, but C-, D+, D, D- F (failing) Not passing F -
Final Grades and Academic Standing
At the end of each semester, faculty members submit to the registrar a final grade for each student. Then, the Registrar’s Office, in conjunction with the Academic Deans and Program Leadership, conducts an academic review of all matriculated students. This review is to ensure that students are meeting academic expectations and are on a continued path to graduation, which requires that students have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
