Pathways scholars will be invited to participate in?Champlain¡¯s AHEAD program, collaborating with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion for programming focused on identity, community, and social justice.

The Pathways Scholarship covers up to?the full cost of tuition.

Pathways Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for the Pathways Scholarship, students must have maintained academic success throughout high school.?To be considered for the Pathways Scholarship, students must:

  1. Apply to Champlain College.
  2. Submit the CSS Profile Lite (Code 3291) and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA ¨C Code 003684).
  3. Complete the Pathway Scholarship Application form.

Students may be nominated for the scholarship by a School Counselor, Champlain admissions counselor, or by self-nominating.

Pathways Scholarship recipients are typically eligible for the Federal Pell Grant, but students with any amount of financial need will be considered.

Award Amounts

The scholarship amount is based on your housing status and is determined using the Student Aid Index (SAI) from your FAFSA and any federal and/or state grants you are eligible to receive. Students living in campus housing will receive scholarship assistance equal to tuition and standard fees.

Any outside scholarships you receive are used to reduce your expected share of the costs first; Champlain scholarship assistance is only reduced when your overall aid exceeds your cost of attendance.

With the support of the scholarship, I started my own business in my first year of university and made many long-term connections in the industry.
