Classes & Credits
Students will be selecting courses through AUT but will work with Champlain for class approval. Champlain students have to have classes approved by Champlain and may not receive credit for taking unapproved courses. AUT offers many classes relevant to different majors which are called papers. 60 points there equals 16 credits at Champlain. Students take four papers/classes ¨C usually two core and two in their major. You should be looking at 500, 600 and 700 level classes, as 800 and above are graduate level courses. Search?here for available papers/classes. After you find a good class, you can find similar courses by searching the Bachelor degrees listed for that class.
Sample Core 300 Courses (All pre-approved Cores are here.)
- Core 301 or Core 303: International Noho Marae: Indigenous Encounters of a Maori Kind
- Core 302: Our People, Our Stories: Contemporary New Zealand Oral Histories
- Core 304: Design Storytelling
