Simple. Straightforward. Guaranteed.Transfer students are eligible for college scholarships (which do not have to be repaid) based on merit, need, and other characteristics. You can count on your Champlain scholarships to be consistent from year to year and renewed annually as long as you are enrolled full-time.

Transfer Scholarships
All incoming transfer students are considered for merit and/or need-based scholarships reserved exclusively for transfer students, up to $15,000.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Scholarships of $5,000 per year are available to members of Phi Theta Kappa who transfer to Champlain College.

CCV Scholarships
This scholarship is available to students transferring from CCV to Champlain College.

Single Parent Scholarship
This scholarship is available to Pell-eligible single parents who are undergraduate students, Vermont residents, and participants in the Champlain College Single Parents Program.

New American Student Scholarship
This need-based scholarship is for Vermont refugee and asylee students who are eligible for a Federal Pell Grant.
Member of Phi Theta Kappa?
Established in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa is the official honor society for two-year colleges.
As a member, you may be eligible for a $5,000 scholarship when you transfer to Champlain College.

But First, the FAFSA
To be considered for Federal Financial Aid, you must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a form used by most colleges and universities. The information you provide is then used to determine the extent of your financial need and aid eligibility based on institutional and/or federal guidelines. However, the FAFSA will not be available until December 2024.
Therefore, in order to? provide our incoming class with a prompt preliminary estimate of Federal Financial Aid prior to the FAFSA release, Champlain College is using the CSS Profile Lite application for Fall 2025 applicants.?To ensure we receive your information, use Champlain’s CSS Profile school code: 3291.
Applicants will also need to fill out the FAFSA when it becomes available to get an official Federal Aid package.
