Tomas Castrejon

Biography

Tomas currently works for a large Financial Institution, where he has held several leadership roles in Incident Management, Digital Forensics, Security Operations, Privacy, Cybercrime, and Identity and Access Management. Tomas also served as the Minneapolis Cybersecurity leader for PwC and as the National Digital Forensics Practice Leader for Deloitte. Tomas earned an MS degree in Digital Forensics Management and an MS in Legal Studies, with a concentration in cybersecurity, compliance, and privacy.

Jane Catton Beattie

Biography

As a native of Canada, Ms. Catton moved to Vermont in 1992 and brings over 35 years of health care and administrative experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree as well as two Master’s degrees; one in Health Care Administration and one in Organizational Leadership. She is a Board Certified Nurse Executive and holds additional certification in Health Care Quality.
Ms. Catton’s previous work experience has included senior leadership positions in health care in both Canada and United States. She has worked in a variety of hospital, academic and community based health care settings, both as a registered nurse in Critical Care and Oncology, and as an administrative leader. She served as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans Vermont where she held progressive leadership roles over the span of 13 years. Currently she serves as the CEO of Age Well, Vermont’s largest designated Area Agency on Aging.
Ms. Catton has been active in supporting local health care partnerships and organizations, including advancing health reform initiatives through the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) within her local Health Service Area. She is passionate about opportunities to build collaborations that support primary community based care models, through transitions of care and coordination systems, which support our population health goals for our communities.
Ms. Catton lives in St. Albans with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys traveling, cycling the rail trails of Vermont and spending time with their 5 children; 2 who live locally and 3 who live out of state.

Niels Caul

Biography

Dr. Niels Caul graduated with a PhD from University College Dublin in 2022. He has previously presented papers at the James Joyce Symposia in Dublin and Trieste, the James Joyce Italian Foundation Conference in Rome and the 2021 International Association for the Study of Irish Literatures. He has curated literary exhibitions for Museum of Literature Ireland and more recently “Revolutionary Dublin’s Literary Networks: C.P. Curran, Helen Laird and James Joyce’s Ulysses” for University College Dublin Special Collections.

Tara Chasnoff

Biography

Tara is thrilled to be working at Champlain College Student Health Center and feels passionate about empowering and educating college students to take charge of their health. She comes to Champlain with over 15 years of nurse practitioner experience which includes working in two other university student health centers. In addition, she continues to work at the Community Health Centers of 足彩胜负14场 where she has been delivering primary care for the past 12 years. Tara was born and raised in Brooklyn but has lived in 足彩胜负14场 for the past 16 years where she is raising her two fabulous daughters and her feisty Havanese. She loves yoga, reading, dance, and long hikes in the Adirondacks.

Wei Kian Chen

Biography

Wei Kian Chen received his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1996, 1998, and 2005, respectively.

His research interests are Association Mining, Classification, Data Mining, Database, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Software Engineering and others.

He is an active member of ACM, IEEE, SIGCSE and CCSC. In addition, he is also a member of the International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines (Upsilon Phi Epsilon) and the Honor Society for International Scholars (Phi Beta Delta).

Kati Christoffel

Biography

Kati Christoffel graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle with her B.F.A. in watercolor painting and B.S. in Athletic Training while competing on the cross country ski team. She then commenced a decade of backpacking, adventure, outdoor seasonal work, art making, and as much cross country skiing as she could cram into the time left. Ready to settle down a bit, but not settle, she joined the Champlain College Conference and Events Center in 2025.

Hobbies

I love cross country and telemark skiing, hiking, backpacking, sailing, painting, needle felting, cooking, reading, and telling my cats how perfect they are.

Favorite Local Eateries and Things to do in Vermont

I love the ice cream at Champlain Chocolate, and you can find me cross country skiing at Sleepy Hollow all winter.

Kaitlin Chuck

Biography

Kaitlin Chuck graduated from Clemson University in 2017 with a BS in Marketing and a BA in Writing & Publication Studies. Having moved states 13 times during her life, Kaitlin looks forward to calling 足彩胜负14场, VT her longtime home. Kaitlin enjoys Snowboarding in the winter, stand-up paddle boarding with her dog in the summer, and yoga at Sangha Studio year-round. New to the 足彩胜负14场 area, Kaitlin and her husband are enjoying the outdoor access and great restaurants BTV has to offer. Kaitlin’s favorite restaurants include Café Hot, May Day, and Restaurant Poco and her favorite mountains are Bolton Valley and Sugarbush.

Diana Clayton

Biography

Diana is the Medical Director of the Student Health Center at Champlain College. She enjoys creating environments where individuals thrive and feel motivated to be their best selves, and applies this energy to her work with patients as well as staff. When not in her office, she is usually playing on the lake or the mountains that surround her home.

Frank Codey

Biography

Frank is the Chief Operating Officer and a Portfolio Manager at ClearShares LLC, an SEC registered Investment Advisor. He spent 21 years at Bear Stearns & Co. running the Fixed Income Prime Brokerage business, and then ran the combined businesses of each firm during the merger with JP Morgan. After leaving JP Morgan, Frank was the Chief Operating Officer at Equinox Funds Management, an advisor to alternative strategy mutual funds, and was President of their distribution broker-dealer, Equinox Group Distributors. As an independent consultant, Frank has advised global banks, broker-dealers, RIAs, and technology service companies in the areas of clearing and operations, business acceleration, and data analytics. Frank has developed and distributed several financial technology applications and tools associated with fixed income trading services, sales segmentation and distribution, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Frank holds a BS in Business with a Finance concentration from Boston University, and a Master of Science in Analytics degree from Villanova University.

Michael Coleman

Biography

Mike Coleman began working just recently at Champlain in August 2023. He has 30+ years of experience in higher education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. He was a Senior Lecturer in mechanical engineering at the University of Vermont for 13 years. Most recently, Mike got his first experience in K-12 education as a math tutor at the Rock Point School in 足彩胜负14场, where he spent several years. Mike has also worked for IBM as a research and development engineer and was the co-founder of a company in Vermont that developed and produced freehand drawing tools and learning materials for the blind and visually impaired. In his work, he has been an academic advisor and mentor on student projects. Mike loves working with students to help them be the best versions of themselves in school, work, and life in ways that make sense to them.

Mike has a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and a doctorate in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornell University. As a graduate student and post-doc, he was very fortunate to work on a team studying the physics of how humans walk on two legs and how apes swing from branch to branch. Using construction toys such as Tinkertoys and Legos was a big part of his work! Mike has also done coursework in the fine arts.

Mike is a serious athlete outside work, competing in bike and cross-country ski racing. He has also played a lot of soccer and racquet sports. He is also an artist, pianist, and photographer. Currently, he volunteers as a gallery docent for 足彩胜负14场 City Arts and the Old Spokes Home as a bike mechanic. Mike loves spending time with friends, getting to know new people, and hearing people’s stories.

Annemarie Conlon

Biography

Dr. Annemarie Conlon teaches social work foundation courses. She is a licensed clinical therapist specializing in anxiety-related disorders. Her experience includes working at MD Anderson Cancer Center, providing family-centered counseling to people diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. She has also spent one year as a pre-dissertation intern with Dr. Jimmie Holland at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Annemarie received the American Cancer Society Grant in Clinical Oncology Social Work as a doctoral student and was a Hartford Pre-dissertation Awardee, Cohort III. Before coming to Vermont, she was the social work lead on three federal and foundation grants centering on the interprofessional education of students, faculty, and health care providers who attend to the health care needs of older adults. Annemarie got her start in health care as a graduate intern at Legacy Community Health in Houston, Texas, where she worked with people diagnosed with HIV.

Before entering the health field, Annemarie spent over a decade at American Express in New York City, where she held positions of increasing responsibility. These included the titles of pricing analyst, financial analyst, sr. financial analyst, financial systems lead, and manager of international business development. She worked with a multi-disciplinary team in that position to develop the American Express Card as a franchise in emerging overseas markets.
