On February 12, Champlain rang in the Valentine¡¯s Day spirit with its annual Day of Thanks, hosted by the Champlain College Advancement team, in recognition and celebration of all those who make the Champlain College experience possible.

The event featured trivia, games, and raffles that tied donor impact to student participation. In a nod to the 574 unique donors from Fiscal Year 2024, students tried to guess the number of Valentine¡¯s Day M&Ms in a jar with each M&M representing a donor. The raffle was a scavenger hunt, leading students to discover campus landmarks that represent donor support, such as the Apiary, the Alumni Auditorium, and the Leahy Center for Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity. Each discovered location earned participants an entry to win a movie night or self-care bundle.

The Fireside Lounge transformed into a hub of community appreciation as students crafted cards for donors, added personal messages to a community paint-by-numbers gratitude banner, and shared what they love about Champlain College. The festivities were sweetened by Valentine’s Day activities, including cookie decorating, a candy bar, and a hot cocoa station.

The day was all about appreciation and recognition of Champlain donors.
